Here are the instructions for for uploading images of the ‘Stop Airport
Expansion’ flash mob from your phone straight onto the internet (images will
appear on Greenpeace UK’s Moblog: http://moblog.co.uk/blogs.php?show=9068):
0. If your phone has email, you’ll be able to upload images and short movies
from your phone straight to the internet (unfortunately, this only works for
phones with email - not MMS).
1. If possible, make sure your phone is set to save photos as JPEGs.
2. Take a picture / video on your phone.
3. Send the picture / video as an attachment in an email to
greenpeace@moblg.net
4. You don’t have to type a subject or message but, if you do, be aware
that these will be published live on the website.
5. Bingo! The image will appear at:
http://moblog.co.uk/blogs.php?show=9068
6. Please note, your personal details (name, phone number, email
address) WON’T be published anywhere.
—
The email address will work from 9am on Thursday (to avoid spam etc) and
will be turned off again at the end of the day.
If anyone wants to put a Moblog badge on their website, showing the latest
images from the Flash Mob (see http://moblog.co.uk/widgets.php ), you can
use this code:
<object type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”
data=”http://moblog.co.uk/lib/flash/mymoblogstream2.swf” height=”185″
width=”160″>
<param name=”movie”
value=”http://moblog.co.uk/lib/flash/mymoblogstream2.swf“>
<param name=”FlashVars”
value=”xmlfile=http://moblog.co.uk/lib/flash/opml.php?id=9068“>
<param name=”quality” value=”high”>
<img src=”latestimage.php?id=9068″ />
</object>
